EdTechWomen is a networked community for women and their supporters in education technology. The goal of EdTechWomen is to connect each other across sub-industries and to leverage women’s influence in education, now and for the future.

Why, you ask?

Because women’s influence in education is significant and multi-faceted. We are the leading consumers of technology; represent 75% of the entire public school teaching workforce; are the main decision makers of a child’s education; and are leaders/entrepreneurs of education organizations. It’s time for us to come out!

Our inaugural event, EdTechWomen Dine, at SXSWedu 2013 was a huge success with 98 amazing attendees. Community members will continue to plan events all year, so if you’re interested in helping out, do send me a note.
